On 14th March 2016 EUCENTRE attended the seminar organized in Rome by the Italian Department of Civil Protection in conjunction with the Disaster Risk Management (DRM) of the World Bank and the Global Facility for Disaster Reduction and Recovery (GFDRR), focused on the possible development of international cooperation projects in the field of prevention and emergency management in particular aimed at assisting countries MENA (Middle East and North Africa) and ECA (Europe and Central Asia).

EUCENTRE during the seminar had the opportunity to illustrate the progress of the main projects in which it is involved, with special attention to SASPARM2.0 project (Support Action for Strengthening Palestine capabilities for seismic risk mitigation) managed in collaboration with the An-Najan University in Nablus, Palestine, and the IUSS Pavia.
